Giorgi Mamardashvili could leave Valencia this summer if a €40m offer arrives at the club

Valencia are ready to consider offers for Georgian goalkeeper Georgi Mamardashvili this summer but Valencia will not let the 23-year-old leave the club for less than €40m.

Giorgi Mamardashvili has been in fine form at Euro 2024, making 30 saves in four games – the second-highest total at the European Championship, behind former Russia goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, who made 32 saves at Euro 2008. Such performances should see Valencia demand a healthy fee for the 23-year-old’s move from Mestalla this summer.

Valencia need to raise €20m from player sales to comply with La Liga’s Financial Fair Play rules, but Los Blancos will not sell Mamardashvili for less than €40m, and the 23-year-old’s future is expected to become clearer once he reports for duty in the next two weeks.

Valencia are prepare to let Mamardashvili leave this summer ยูฟ่าเบท after signing North Macedonia goalkeeper Stol Dmitriyevski on a free transfer from Rayo Vallecano.

Atletico Madrid are also one of his admirers, and would consider him a replacement for Jan Oblak. Yet the Slovenian, who would likely be allow out of the Spanish capital for the right offer, is yet to receive any offers either, meaning the Metropolitano is unlikely to be an exit route for Mamardashvili any time soon.

Oblak is one of the highest earners at Atletico, and despite the club communicating that he is a central pillar of their side, multiple sources, including Moretto, maintain that the right offer for club and player could extract him. By that time, it could well be too late for Los Rojiblancos to look to Mamardashvili, yet so far, he would remain an option in their shortlist.
