Arsenal sporting director Edu has revealed he cannot express how he feels after his team lost the Premier League title to Manchester City.
The Gunners competed for success with Promotion ufabet Pep Guardiola’s side throughout the 2023-24 season, but lost by two points after the title challenge reached the final day.
Many, including Edu, think Mikel Arteta and his team are at their best to win the title. As he insists they feel they have done everything right.
In an interview with Estadão, the Gunners’ sporting director said: “There are a lot of things that unfortunately I can’t express how I feel. It was a strange feeling, very strange!”
“Because we ended the season feeling like we did everything right. From signing contracts and goals to contract renewals.”
“Miguel did a great job and achieved his goal. We do everything we can. But it still wasn’t enough. irritated But there is also a positive feeling that the process is working well. The work was great.”
Despite the ongoing debate over City’s success amid 115 charges for breaching financial regulations, Edu has praised Guardiola for his work at the club.
“But all the credit in the world has to go to Pep for the training and the work he has done since the beginning of his career.”
“I still joke with my son that I want to see if he’s really good at rugby. It’s a joke I do because he’s already won everything in football.”
